Snowmen.....

Merry Christmas to all!!! I hope your  home is all decorated, your Christmas shopping is done and all wrapped....So now all you have left to do is enjoy baking yummy Christmas cookie....Then eating them with your family and friends...I truly hope that is your world...Mine, not so much...I love the holidays, the only problem I have is I always think I can stitch or sew just one more item then I will stop...But that never happens...Until my husband looks at me with that, are you crazy look, then I stop... The good news for me is that my daughter Mary will be home from college on the 19th, she is the best cookie make ever...So, on the 20th our home is going to smell like yummy Christmas cookies...But there is only one problem, she has the same issue her mother has...She always wants to bake just one more batch of cookie...Until her dad looks at her with that, are you crazy look, then she decides she has baked enough...Dose that sound familiar ....I know  Mary and I have problem...We never know when to stop...LOL...

I promise these are my last two items for the Christmas season...My Snow Angel Bag is adapted from a County Stitches pattern....The framed Snowmen were designed by Trilogy...
These are the items I am listing on TDIPT tomorrow night... I would love it if you stopped by...There will be beautiful hand make items to see...

Thank a bunch for your kind comment they make my day...
I am hoping you enjoy a safe and happy holiday season...
Merry Christmas,
Nancy

Red and Green....

Merry, Merry Christmas...My sewing room in a mess, as usual for this time of year, red and green every where....My dear husband says I have way to much fun in there...So much fabric and not enough time....I keep telling him I will teach him to sew, but he would rather watch football....I am sorry to say after all these years I still don't understand that game...
I love working with wool...I thought I might put cross stitch together with a crazy wool ornament...These are what I came up with, the vintage hanger just make me so happy...
My framed December picture is a design for Stacy Nash...
Some more ornaments....I have been collecting ornaments for years, I still can't seem to have enough...My famous last words to my family  might be, please let me make just on more ornament...LOL...
Merry Christmas is a design for Pineberry Lane...

These are the items I am offering  on Early Work Mercantile tonight...If you have the time stop by there should be lots of fun holiday items to see...
Jaxon told me this morning I wasn't allowed to start decorating the tree until he got home from school....I am off to pick him up so we can get started on the tree....
Thanks a bunch for stopping by and for the kind comments you make my day...

Christmas Goodies...

It is just about time to enjoy all the Christmas items I have been stitching for months....I don't want to rush things to fast, first I have to enjoy a big Thanksgiving dinner and weekend  with all my favorite people...Then it is down with the orange and brown and up with the red and green...These are a few of the items I have been working on...I have had this great vintage potato masher sitting on my desk just looking at me....I couldn't decided just what I wanted to do with it then it came to me....I have this pattern from Notforgotton farms that I was dieing  to punch, so this is what I came up with....Santa is standing on the masher with vintage tinsel and rusty bells tied around the handle...
Peace on Earth Pin-keep...This is my own design stitch on natural linen...Put together with vintage fabric..
Next is Up to the House Tops...This is also my own design...I think that little house is just sitting all cozy in a forest of trees just waiting for Santa...
Skating mouse is staying nice and warm in her sweater, scarf and mittens..Just waiting to skate around the Christmas tree...
These are a few of the other ornaments I have been working on....I just love stitching Pineberry lanes Santa pulling his sled with his tree on top...
Last is my Snowflake Table Runner...Pieced together with some great vintage holiday fabrics....With white on white wool appliqued
snowflakes...

These are the items I am listing on TDIPT tomorrow night....I have been enjoying just looking at all the beautiful holiday fabrics I have...I would love to head back to my sewing room and keep working on holiday items...But my dear husband likes to eat...Perhaps I should make dinner instead....

I am off...Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comments they make my day...
Take care,
Nancy
