Happy Birthday TDIPT.....

Hello all....The weather in the pacific northwest has been rainy and windy, which give me more time to stitch and sew....Because who want to be out in that mess??? Not me...Here are a few of the things I have been working on....I think that my sewing room look like spring went off in it.....It is full a new wonderful spring fabric...Which make me very happy....I think if I liked to cook as much as I like to sew my husband would like it a lot better....

I love these spring egg...I stood them on little stands so they can be put anywhere or I could just lay them in a basket....

I have been working with polymer clay lately...I love to use buttons on my stitching....I got a little carried away this time around and need four button whole to hold the basket button to the fabric....I have a few more large buttons that I have been working on and can't wait to use them...

And last is my spring pillow...I really like the dimensional look I get when I use wool applique and cross stitch together.....

That is about all the fun I have been having.....These are my new items that I'm listing on TIPT tonight....If you have the time I would love it if you could check out TDIPT birthday...
There will be lots of great hand work and a fun birthday give away...

I'm off....We have company coming to dinner tonight and I'm sure they would like something to eat...So I'm thinking if they show up and I'm still on the computer that wouldn't be a good thing.....Thanks so much for stopping by and for all the kind comment, you make my day, Nancy

  2. Oh your eggs are lovely. You have been making your buttons out of polamar clay? Do you like that better than real buttons? I never thought about doing that. How many times have I needed buttons for something and looked through every button box in the house but I never thought of doing that in a pinch.
Everything looks so good. I bet you are tired of rain?
