Today I have been working on Apples... I know I have talked about this before, But lately I have had this thing for fruit so for the last couple of day apples have been on my mind and this is what I came up with..
I found this great old red print looking fabric. Then dyed prairie cloth to match, so I could cross stitch one of the apple sections. I really like Bees, bee keeps, flowers and especial sun shine this time of year. There was my theme for my cross stitching. I used decorative stitches to outline the sections of the apple when it was stuffed... Then a twig stem with a piece of silk ribbon tied around it... My last step was to pin a rusty safety pin with an old shoe button and an old bone button to the apple....Now I have plans for a yellow and a green apple.... So now back to my sewing room...I hope you day is full of stitching, Nancy
