Two of My Favorite people !!!

These are my two youngest daughters . Mary and Katie we spent Katie's birthday in Seattle at Pikes Market. Katie loves the city... I never can get them to be serious at the same time one always has to be a goof... in this picture it's Katie.
This picture Mary decided it was her turn to be the goof...
And in this picture it is both of them being a goof.. When they see I posted these picture I'll be in big trouble... Well maybe next time they will just smile for the camera... Probably not.... Mary is taking a leave from college for 18 months, she is going to spend the time in Alaska. So I'm off for a week to help her get things together.. All though she has been a way at school for the last couple of years we are really going to miss her. It always hard to see you kids grow up....and your house quite.....
On the stitching front I just finished this appliqued pillow. I used wool and velveteen on osanburg then add decorative stitches and small beads.. I really enjoyed working on the pillow I hadn't done an applique for a while

These are the last of my pears. In this set I cross stitched on the small pear with over dyed floss... Don't you just love over dyed floss? I do.....I had one more set of pear I wanted to show but I accidentally erased them. Go figure with my computed savvy I can't believe that happened... lol.... It's late and I can't figure out how to put the picture where I want it. So that will have to wait... thanks so much for you kind comments they make a girl feel good... And Nan thanks for your help... I'll write again when I get home from helping Mary.... Until then happy stitching, Nancy

I Love This Time of Year !!!

I have dug, cut, pulled, picked, pruned, moved dirt, planted and fertilize all with the help of my two favorite kids Mckenna and Jaxon. But most of the time they rode there bikes, wrote all over the drive way with chalk and had a picnic under the trees. Let us not forget the 101 Popsicle they ate... We were all super tired and had a great time the days were beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better.....

Now all that is left to do is watch our flowers grow and our pumpkin and sunflower seeds sprout. On the stitching front I'm working on more pears and on a applique using the velveteen I dyed and wool. I like the way it is turning out. I hope to have pictures to share soon. I'm hoping your weather is beautiful, Nancy

Pears....

For some reason I have been in love with fruit and veggies lately. I want to eat them, stitch them and stuff them. First strawberries then pears. At Easter I made carrots for everyone I love. Now I have apples sitting in the back of my mind. I'll see what happens with that thought. I just listed new offerings on Esty. If you have the time please check them out I would like to know what my blog friends think. Until later, Nancy

Disneyland!!!

I just spent 5 fun filled day in Disneyland with seven of my favorite people... starting on the left is my favorite yard helper Jaxon. Next his super cute mom Emily (my oldest daughter). Then buzz lightyear who to tell you the truth I don't know very well. Abby who loves every ride especially the fast and furious ones. Last but not least Sean the dad of two of the cutest kids at Disneyland that day.

Then one of my favorite sises in the whole world Angie on the right. Her son Levi who could fight every bad guy from stars wars and win.(he has great fighting moves with his light saver) Next is every one favorite guy Brian, Angie's husband he planned the whole trip to make sure we hit ever ride a maxim of times and ate every treat in Disneyland at least twice...... Love Ya Brian thanks for great planing. I know I had a great time because my feet still hurt and I'm still on a sugar high.

Now it is back to reality... Mike, Mary and Katie couldn't go with me because of work, school etc...I brought them back great treats but its not the same as watching the grand kids and Levi have so much fun. So now they need a little TLC. Well I'm off to make dinner and hopefully after dinner a little stitching. Next time I hope to have some stitching to share. Thanks for stopping by, Nancy
