Yahooooo.....For Me........

Wow....It has been crazy around here...Just like it is for the rest of you out in blog land..I'm so sad summer is winding down..I haven't had much time to stitch and sew but today my house is clean, quite, with all the laundry done. I'm all alone so the day is mine I'm going to sew and then sew some more.....Yahooooo
My latest project is the candy corn... I love all the fun wools that are out now in fall colors.... I appliqued the wool and used prairie cloth for the back so I could cross stitch the alphabet.

My pin-keep is made from a Blackbird Design pattern... I love there patterns...It is stitched on tins roof linen with over dyed floss...

Who knows what will happen to this guy...He is first on my list of projectes for today... He is a freebie pattern for Stitcherhood.....

School started today around here.... This is my sweet McKenna who will be off to Kindergarten this year...

And I can't forget to post a picture of her side kick Jaxon who still has a couple of years left to hang out with grandma before he is off to school ....
I hope your day is as fun as mine, Nancy

  1. I love that candy corn, I have been going to make one too but like you said, it has just been busy. I am cleaning house today and I had to stop for lunch, so it was nice to sit for a bit and have lunch with one of my favorite stichers. Your kiddos are great! Everything look great! Have a lovely week Nancy.

I think the most I love about your post is the two cutie pies I see.

Our oldest is off at College and our youngest starts 10th grade tomorrow, Where does the time go????

Enjoy every minute, My husband and I feel so bleesed that we have raised great, smart, loving boys and one that is now a young man.
It is hard to raise them in this day in age!
I believe it starts at home!
