Ho..Ho..Ho..Christmas ornaments for Early work Mercantile...

The season is upon us and I don't think a person can ever have enough Christmas tree ornaments...I like to have a new ornament to remember every year...Also tree ornaments are my favorite gift to give...
Our family has a very kind Uncle, Uncle Bob who every year since the kids were born he has given them a Christmas ornament... Which they watch to come in the mail right after Thanksgiving, I know it is one of their favorite tradition....They always have fun hanging their ornaments and comparing them with the one for years gone by...

These are a few of the thing I'm offering on Early work Mercantile tonight...If you have a chance I would love it if you could stop by....I hope your holiday season is going well and full of all the fun and family you need....
Thanks a bunch for stopping by, Nancy

I Can't Get Enough Snowmen....

Wow.. It has been busy around here...I have been sewing and then sewing some more..Thank-you for all the orders and the kind comments on my blog ...You all make me feel so good....
As you can tell I love snowmen...After the holidays are over and life go back to normal
I have a lot of winter left before I can plant flowers...Then I love snowmen even more...During the winter my house is full of them, big ones, fat one, skinny one, one that are punched, crossed stitched ones and one that are stuffed...They all make me happy...So around here snowmen are around all winter....My neighbors love to kid me when the daffodils are blooming and I still have a lingering snowman on the front porch...

Here a few of my latest snowmen....The cross stitches pocket snowman is a design from County Stitches....I have said this before, I love every thing Brenda designs...

I am also a firm believer that girl can never have to many holiday pillows .....These are a couple of my latest pillows....
Make sure you check out the Christmas fair at TDIPT we are having a huge give away....
I'm offering the Merry drum I posted on October 28th...I can't wait to see which one of you nice people out there in blog land wins it...
I'm off to do a little more stitching in my comfy chair while my cute husband flips the T.V.
channels...
Take care and thanks for stopping by, Nancy

Thank-you-...Thank-you...

Thank-you Thank-you for all the kind comments from all of you nice people out in blog land....Your comments are all so up lifting on a dark rainy day... I can't believe it has been two weeks since I last posted....I have been busy filling order for TDIPT from my October offerings and trying to get ready for the 15 of November...And then there are the Halloween costumes I have been making for my grand kids all in all It has been crazy around here...Then I thought....I'm having so much fun with TDIPT why not join another site and offer my guilty pleasures on the first of every month. So I joined Early Works Mercantile.Com...Now I get to spend even more time in my sewing room...I'm a little over whelmed right now but I love ever minute of it...
I just finished Santa and his friend this morning...I love his old wool coat and pants and he looks so kind holding his reindeer...I have one more Santa all ready to put together I'm just trying to decide what his clothes should look like....Santa is from a pattern I found from Pineberry lane...

I have been cross stitching like crazy...I have a pile of thing that need to be put together...This little bird and flower are made into a double pin-keep with old buttons and rosemary stuck in the middle...I just love how rosemary smells...

And last of all is my merry drum...I really like making these ....I think I will try a couple more....Well I'm off to try and decide what kind of clothes would look great on my naked Santa...
Thanks so much for stopping by and I really appreciate all the nice comments...
Happy stitching, Nancy

A Million Pictures.......

After being gone for one whole week there are about a ton of things that need to be done around here...But, I sure had a good time, my folks are doing great and so is the rest of my family and I have to say my favorite thing is that my hair look absolutely beautiful if I do say so myself it has nothing to do with me my sister Angie is a genies with a pair of scissors..Now I feel much better about myself...

One of my tasks when I got home was to finish sewing my offering for TDIPT web site for the 15 of October which made me really happy to get home from a week of fun and have an excuse to spend time in my sewing room....I have been sewing like crazy but now my problem is I have take about a million pictures of my offering and can't decide which ones to use... I'm having trouble because I can only use six pictures....

I have done a few autumn thing but this pillow I would leave out all year.....I don't think I can ever be too thankful for all the thing around me...

I think this is the last pumpkin I'm going to make for fall this year......You know I have said that before....Who knows I may be thinking of a few more pumpkins that are just waiting to be made ...

I started cross stitching Christmas thing a couple of week ago.....But this is my first angel of the season...She is primitive but I love details...Her wings are made out of an old quilt, her petticoat has vintage lace and decorative embroidery stitches, her eyes are old bone buttons and she is taking care of a little bird and his nest.....And of coarse she is time worn with lots of love.. I have a couple more angels I'm working on I'll post them as soon as there are done....I have a weakness for angels and snowmen during the winter season...

Sad but true I really need to do some laundry...So I'm off to the laundry room...So no more sewing for me today.....After laundry it is on to the grocery store.....
I hope all of you fun people out in blog land are having a great day, Nancy
