I Can't Wait For Spring...

 I have been working on new items for spring....I think if my sewing room is full of lots of color it will make the winter go faster....I have been sewing and stitching flowers and  then more flowers and a bird or two....These are the items I am listing on http://earlywork-moonpieprimitives.blogspot.com/ tonight....Stop by you might find something to help brighten up you home for the winter...

Happy New Year!!!!!!!

I have been away to long....Our family has had a great holiday season, tons of fun company, good food and  yummy treats....My thoughts have turned to hearts, lots of hearts I thought I would post a few of the one I have finished for Early Work Mercantile http://earlyworkmoonpieprimitives.blogspot.com/  that are posted now....I still have a huge pile of heart in my sewing room that need attention, but that will have to wait until after the first of the year....My family is coming over tonight to play games and you guessed it eat more yummy treats...

Halloween and New Christmas Items....

 Where did the summer go??? the kids are back in school the evenings are getting cooler the leaves in the mountains are changing....It seems to me it should only be July not the middle of September....One good thing about this time of year is Halloween...I love Halloween, the spooks, pumpkins,  orange, black and everything else that gos along with the season...  I have been sewing like crazy, anything that is Halloween...I am a little behind I though I would share the item I posted on Early Work Mercantile  on the first, also a few more items I have been working on... 

 This little spook is all dressed up and ready for a night of trick or treating....Sitting on top of a giant pumpkin....

 Hand painted sunflower pumpkin with a sassy crow on top also all ready to go trick or treating...

 I has been cross stitching Halloween items....There in nothing  better than a over stuffed chair, a bright light and a spook to cross stitch in the evening...

 Finally there is Stanley and Stella...The pair are out on the town with their friends the skeleton  head and a fancy crow... hoping for a yummy dinner of bat wing and spider soup...

TO MUCH SUMMER FUN!!!

 Summer is turning out to be quite busy and a lot of fun.....Hence, the reason I have been such a bad blogger...I did find a little time to stitch while watching the grand-kids swim and then stayed up late when my house was quite to sew.....I love those nights...I though I would try something a little different, a little bit of mixed media on my pumpkins..A few painted and quilted fall flowers...Then clay birds on top...fun, fun, fun....

I listed these pumpkin an Early Work Mercantile on the 1st of

I love Red, White and Blue...

 I can't be happier that summer is starting...My flowers are planted and now all I want to do is sit outside and watch them grow..Plus a little stitching....

 I have been stitching and punching with red, white and blue...

 And then just a few flowers for good measure...
