Hoping For Spring...

I really hate to start my new post by complaining about the weather......But, here in the pacific northwest it has been SUPER CRUMMY....The good new is it has given me time to sew so I guess it isn't as bad as I think....I would really like to look out my sewing room window and see just a little sunshine...I will keep me fingers crossed maybe we will get a few sun breaks tomorrow...

Here are a few of the spring projects I have been working on for Early Work Mercantile tonight...
I love rabbits, eggs and spring colors they are just about as good as sunshine...





I have a couple more hours that I can sew before my family will want dinner....I'm off to enjoy my sewing room a little longer....

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

It has been a busy day around here .....I have about two seconds to post before Mike (my dear husband) leaves me home.....We are going out to dinner with the family.... He is super hungry....I thought I would share the items I'm listing on TDIPT to night....





As you can tell I have been having fun in my sewing room....I just love it when I have the time to sew...

Waiting For Spring....

I'm just making it through the winter.....I love snowmen....But I have to say that I'm look forward to flowers and rabbits....With that said I have been stitching thing that remind me of spring...First off I found these great vintage pastry cups so I decided to put pin-keeps in them...
I stitched them on 30 count linen over one thread so my eyes are a little foggy...LOL







Here she is my first rabbit of the season...I would like you to meet Gladys Palmer is a design from Ravens Haven and I just love her....She has been doing what I wish I could do this time of year... She had been working in her garden all day...



Last are a couple of Pin-keep I used some great vintage lace I found and stitched some of the things that remind me of spring....

Yahoooooo It Is Time For Hearts......

Wow....It seams like it has been forever since I last posted.... like all of you out there in blog land
the holidays were crazy around here...My daughter Mary had been in Alaska for 18 months she arrived home on the 16 Th of December....Katie arrived home on the 23 of December and they both had friends that came to visit for the holidays....So with the other kids and the grand kids we had the best time...Probable more fun than we were entitled too...Then after all the fun I got to spend time in my sewing room....It doesn't get much better than that.....I'm posting a few of the thing I have been working on...This time year I can't get enough red hearts








There it is my latest guilty pleasure...I thought with the new year I might talk my family into not eating and making a mess of the house, then that would give me more time to sew...But they didn't go for the idea...So I'm off to do the laundry.....

Christmas Finishes...

I'm so excited the Christmas season is upon us....I just love this time of year...I'm still decorating, just when I think I'm done I think of something else that might be fun to decorate...I know it is never ending...I love Christmas stitching, I'm sure like many of you I have about a zillion Christmas thing started and it will probably take me about ten years to finish all of them...But my thinking is do I really care how long it take me... It sure doesn't stop me from starting a new project...LOL...

Here are a few of the thing I have been working on for Early Work Mercantile...This time of year I can't seam to get enough wool project done....I just love working with wool....I have piles of wool all over my sewing room, I know it sounds crazy, but I just like look at all the colors and textures....Now you know one more of my crazy obsessions












I hope you enjoy the holiday season and that you finish a few of the Christmas project I now you have started...LOL....

Out With The Snowmen...

I can't believe it is just about time to put away the pumpkins and get out the snowmen....
I'm posting a few of the items I have been working on for TDIPT....I love snowmen as much as I love pumpkins...So, you guessed it I even have a snowman for each of my bathrooms...
I know my dear husband thinks it is over kill...But secretly I think he likes the snowmen as much as I do...Or I'll just keep telling myself that...






Don't get me started on snow flakes....Snow flakes are a favorite of mine also, mainly because they are fun to leave out all winter...

Better Late Than Never...

All I can say is two words STOMACH FLU......Boy, I tried to post last night but my family wasn't having it, we were hit by a super fun flu bug...People around here were dropping like flies...We had our daughter Katie and the grand-kids here for the weekend....But today all is well Jaxon is at preschool, Jordan is playing happily and my favorite Katie is on her way back home...As for me I had time this morning to post the items I have been working on for Early Work Mercantile....





These are my new items....Some of my favorite things. I love snowmen, angels, pomegranates and who doesn't love a good sampler....
Well I'm off, as you can imagine after having a flu bug I can hardly get in my wash room..
So the day for me looks like laundry and more laundry...But that is OK, I'm so glad everybody is feeling better.....
