Moving on to Bunnies.....

I think I'm just about done with hearts....Hopefully now I can work on bunnies...This last bunch of heart went off to my sisters home.....
I am dreaming of sun shine, I am having the hardest time taking pictures on these dark rainy days...So sorry that my picture are a little dark...But they say we might get a little sun shine tomorrow...I don't dare complain with all the snow and cold temperatures the rest of you are getting...



Josie strikes again...She is really too nice to me.... This is the latest little treat she sent me from Michelle Palmer...I'm thinking that this sweet little bird might look good on a patch work heart, hanging from a peg in my family room...My oldest daughter disagreed she thought It would look better hanging on a peg in her kitchen... I usually give in, but this time I think the little bird is just too prefect for my family room....We'll see maybe we can share...An even better idea, I'll order one for her....



Here is Daisy my first bunny of the spring season, I just love her....She has this great carrot that I'm sure she is trying to hide until just the right time too share this great treasure with her friends...Daisy is made from a pattern by Raven's Heaven...


These are a couple of the tops I have been working on for double pin keeps...And I'm thinking that a bunny patch on one a the velveteen carrots below might be fun....

I'm Seeing Hearts ......

So sorry... it has been two weeks since my last posts....So much for posting more often...Well, I guess I will have to try harder next week, but I have to say I have been spending all my free time in my sewing room I wish I liked my computer as much as I like my sewing machine...I find my sewing machine a lot more friendly...
I love this little cupid from country stitches...


Here are a few of the things I have been working on...And the items I am offering tonight on Early work Mercantile....I must say I'm seeing heart every where even when I sleep, I have stitched and sewn so many...I thought I was just about done with hearts and going to move on to bunnies...But my sister Angie just called and said her home needed something fun for Valentines day so I have some great new red fabric that I haven't used yet, now I have an excuse to use it...I guess there will be a couple more hearts before I move on to bunnies...







I hope there are lovely people like me out in blog land...I have sewn all day long and the man of my dreams is going to be home in one hour and I look like a train wreck and there is'nt the tiniest bit of dinner ready.....So what to do...I guess I better scramble and try to look presentable and fix a yummy dinner....No more sewing or blogging for me today....Thanks for all your kind comments and for stopping by....You know that you make my day, Nancy

Dont' You Just Love The Color Red?????

I absolutely love the color red...How about you??? Red is my favorite thing about Valentines day...Every since January hit and all the Christmas decoration were put away I turn my attention to red valentines...Stitching and sew them...Here are a few that I'm offering on TDIPT tonight...





Winter seams to go by a little faster when I stitch...First I can stitch thing for Valentines day...Then as soon as valentines is over I can start on Easter and spring stitching and then befor I know it my yard will be needing some work and them comes planting the flowers...And the 4ht of July...I gear everything in my life around what can I stitch next... A new baby, then stitch a birth sampler a wedding then stitch a wedding sampler....I know it is a sickness, but I love every little stitch it take me to get from January to December...And of course I enjoy all of you nice people out in blog land....Thanks so much for all the nice comments about my stitching, it dose my heart good...

Look what came in the mail...

Wow...Look at the fun treats that came in the mail...I have meet the nicest people out in blog land...These treat are from Josie a new friend of mine, she started reading my blog and I have made her quite a few items for her home....
I love every thing that Michelle Palmer designs, I am thinking and thinking about what would be exactly the right thing to make with the snowman patch and vintage buttons...Today my house need a lot of TLC after all the fun we had over the holiday....Thank-you Josie for giving me more to think about while I scrub than just how long it is going to be until I have the time to go back to my sewing room....You made my day...
So now I'm off to scrub....

Holy cow if has been crazy around here...I don't now how all of you wonderful bloggers out there in blog land do it....Through this busy holiday season you manage to keep your blogs up dated and full of great pictures and new project... With my limited computer skills, I'm tell you it take me longer to post that it dose to cross stitch my projects ( just kidding) ....But I am really slow at getting everything together....

We have had a great holiday season around here....Full of my favorite people and tons of yummy treats....But now my house needs a little TLC and the Christmas decorations need to come down...But I still have Katie at home so I can't think about that until she leaves there is still more fun to be had and treats to be eating...(that is if I could possible eat one more treat)...Thanks for stopping by and for the all the nice comments you make my day...My New years resolution is to post more often and to leave more comments on all of your blogs out there because you have all been so kind to me....Enjoy the New Year and thanks so much for all the kindness you have sent my way, Nancy

Christmas is fast approching.....

Wow... Christmas is fast approaching....And as usual I feel like I'm light year behind...But that's OK I guess that is half the fun...I'm posting a few items I just listed on TDIPT...And I think this is the last of my Christmas stitching...I do have a couple of gifts to finish then I guess I can say I'm done....I always find just one more thing I would like to stitch for the holidays....But my family is looking around the kitchen for Christmas goodies and right know there is none to be found...So if I don't want the lose my happy home I better leave my sewing room for a while and start baking...LOL...I must say I probably like the treats more than they do...Jaxon, Mckenna and I will start with cinnamon rolls and freeze them for Christmas morning....This task will take all day and the grand kids love making their own rolls and taking them home to their folks....There will be dough, cinnamon and sugar everywhere and this is my favorite Christmas tradition I have done this ever since my kids were little and I hope there will be kids here forever so I never have to stop making Christmas rolls with the kids...

How Do You Do It.....

Good morning all....Wow... I don't know how all you great blogger out there in blog land find the time to post as often as you do this time of year...I feel like a slacker...I though I would post a couple of the thing I have been working on...
For some reason the last couple of thing I have stitch have turned out to be stocking....I packed up a bunch of them last night to mail today and of course forgot to take pictures...But this one is staying home until tomorrow....Then it is off to it's new home...


And then a snowman with his friends...This guy was designed by Kentucky primitives....I love her stuff...Thanks so much for sharing all of your wonderful work on your blogs ...It's so nice when I'm tired and uninspired to look at all the wonderful thing you have created for a pick me up....And as always thanks for the kind comments they are the best pick me up of all....
